Well, Hello.
My name is Heather. And I welcome YOU to my little corner of the internet, dubbed This Little Light Of Mine. Everyone has a light within them, it's up to you how you let it shine. I want my light to shine bright, I want to be the change I want to see in the world.
I am a twenty something, newlywed, mommy to two precious furbaby doggies, brownie addict, blog following, Christian woman living in sunny ol' central Florida.
My life consists of family, friends and serving God.
I am happy to be called a wife, daughter, sister, friend, cousin, and auntie among other things.
My passion in life is helping others, including animals. I've even served on the board of directors for my local SPCA. I am involved in various organizations and participate annually in the American Cancer Societies Relay for Life, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Societies Light the Night, and the SPCA's Pet's on Parade, among others. Being involved and spreading awareness about different causes makes my heart swell.
I like to travel and have been to Europe, as well as the Carribbean, and many major cities in between such as NYC, Atlanta, DC, Miami, Philadelphia & San Fransisco.
I am addicted tobrownies Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Brownies. I heart tattoos though I only have one. Sandhill Cranes fascinate me. I sip some type of tea on most days. Enjoy cooking. and love playing Auntie to my friends children. :)

I have a spinal disorder, Spondylolisthesis, which causes me to be stiff and achy most days, but I don't let that bring me down (for the most part, some days it gets the best of me). It does NOT define me.
All in all, I love my life, and am here to share my everyday adventures with you. I hope you'll take a look around, and maybe even decide to come back.
